EVENT: Reconciliation Day Interfaith Walk

TWENTY YEARS OF DEMOCRACY –

POSSIBILITIES FOR RECONCILIATION IN OUR FUTURE

Meet at 8.50 at Groote Kerk, the Dutch Reformed Church at the top of Adderley Street. Executive Mayor of Cape Town, Alderman Patricia de Lille will open the event. We will walk thoughtfully together from there, up the Company’s Garden to the Gardens Synagogue and on to the Boorhanol Mosque in Longmarket Street, with addresses at each venue :

Kayum Ahmed – CEO SA Human Rights Commission
Ndyebo Nghona – Medical Doctor
Amanda Stein – Youth Leader, Entrepreneur

Light refreshments served at St George’s Cathedral

ALL WELCOME!
Dress code: modest. Please wear comfortable shoes and bring a sun hat, a scarf for the mosque (women) and a yarmulke (head covering) for the synagogue (men). Water will be provided
